The 4 Patterns

Which patterns do you recognize?

These are reflection lenses, not diagnoses. You may recognize more than one, different ones in different contexts, or none.

Why it happens

Patterns have a context.
You are more than one strategy.

Adaptive performance can be shaped by learned expectations, stress, relationships, and efforts to protect safety or belonging. A strategy may help in one context and become costly in another.

Authenticity is an ongoing, context-aware practice. Emotional and embodied signals are information to notice and interpret alongside context, values, evidence, safety, and other people’s rights.
